why vegan?
Because animal exploitation sucks!
Animals are not objects that can be used and discarded at will. They feel, they suffer – much like we do. Yet, they are systematically bred, exploited, and killed for food, clothing, cosmetics, entertainment, and pet breeding. And this only happens because people aren't living vegan. Every steak, every leather bag, every glass of milk keeps this brutal machinery running.
But why is this such a big problem? Because justice shouldn't be selective. We fight against racism and sexism, but often forget that animals are also oppressed and exploited – this is called speciesism. Animals have their own interests, just like we do. They want to live, not suffer, and not feel pain. By not living vegan, you disregard all of this and support the exploitation and violence against animals.
But hey, there's a way out! If you truly oppose this cruel exploitation, then live vegan. Boycott animal products, say no to leather, wool, and cosmetics tested on animals. And please, avoid circuses, zoos, and commercial pet breeding – all of this only reinforces animal suffering.
It's time to take responsibility and stand up for those who can't fight for themselves. Watch the documentary Dominion, and you'll see why living vegan isn't just a good idea, it's an ethical obligation.
